Trainor: Gavin Gough (a professional travel photographer and writer) Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Wet market, Wat Pho) Date: 13 December, 2008
Since I am really keen on pursuing photography as a hobby, I have been very fortunate to attend another workshop with a well known professional travel photographer and writer who is based here in Bangkok, Thailand.
He is my fave photojournalist (Gavin don't blush, it is true!) and I do follow his blog on a regular basis. A very generous person who shared with me a lot of things including a few of his "trade secrets" - sorry if I asked a lot of questions on the business aspect of photography and you were too good to me for providing insights and suggestions.
Through his website (www.gavingough.com), I found other photographers whom I admire not only for their work but also for their generosity and humility.
These are some of the photos I took during the workshop and I will have a post analysis of my experience to document my key learning's.
Again, many thanks Gavin for the great learning experience :)
PS - I am keen to take up your offer to meet up with David duChemin on January. I am overwhelmed and really appreciate your invite :))
